Discombobulated Things.

So I have a new obsession. Clearly. I won't shut up about these.

Diamond Candles.

I am already obsessed with jewelry and smell good things! And a Diamond Candle just combines these two things better then a teenager and a sparkly vampire.

Also in other Tarter related news,
There is actually farm equipment that is made by Tarter.

Apparently we are not related to these Tarters. I asked.
I am thinking of repainting something. I need a project. I am going a little stir crazy with nothing to focus on. I think that I am going to start planting the yard and maybe working on getting just a little patch of grass going. I also would like to do something to my back patio. I am thinking about painting it with a stencil.....

Something like that. I just need something to do :) besides the cleaning and and laundry.

Oh nd we got a puppy.........
I think that one deserves a little post of its own.

More happenings

So on my last holiday weekend until the end of May which Josh was also off on!!!! me and Josh crammed as much fun as we could in.
We started out the weekend with friends coming over for dinner on Friday and then Saturday morning we went for fishing. No pictures of that. I didn't feel like lugging my camera way over to the opposite side of the lake and risk getting fish guts on it. We had fun! Josh caught a fish and I tried to sleep on a tiny bench.
Saturday night we went to Grapes in Jerome. I LOVE GRAPES. It is the best restaurant and it feels like you are getting out of town even if it is only 17 Miles away from Prescott Valley. Josh had the night off and so him and Arthur indulged in a couple little drinkie poos. And apparently with 2 beers in him Josh turns into a horrible horrible back seat driver who shouts at his loving wife who is only going 32 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone. Oh Josh.

Then on Sunday we went to Laughlin! Woot woot!

This is not our hotel. But it was the view from our hotel. Me and Josh are Laughlin hotel snobs and only stay at the Aquarius:) we love the windows.

While looking out our windows, we saw this security guard. We couldnt figure out what he was doing. I got out my long lens and watched him. He was wandering around his car and then he kept walking around the car and then he locked the car. And then he wanted to get back in the car so he kept trying all the doors over and over and over and over. Weird.

This weekend Jordan, Alex and Seylah came to visit! We love them coming up to see us.

Seylah is so fricken cute!

Oh and we cleaned out our closet and Josh threw this out. It was a shame. He also had one in blue.....

Apparently it itched?

February Fun times

Christmas came and went to fast. We enjoyed Jacy and Tim being here so much and they left way to soon! Family time is the best.

We were so sad on New Years day when our puppy Jay got ran over and died. We still miss him so much and are so broken hearted that he isn't with us anymore. Even when I got so mad at his hairyness and having to vacuum almost every day to keep up with him shedding I still think he was the perfect dog. Dixie was so lost for the first few weeks but she is sort of hitting her only dog groove. I know she still wishes she had a friend but we are slowly warming up to the thought of going through the horrible puppy chewing/peeing phase.

My birthday was a blast! I worked like the grown up I am but I did have a combo birthday party dinner with a pretty awesome 12 year old who shares the same birthday as me and Josh pulled though with a pistola. It has pink digi camo. What more could I want!

I also scored the most wonderful invention ever!
Epiphanie camera bag purses!
Best thing created in all of the time.

Our dear nephew lost his first tooth! At our house to boot! Apparently he wanted to save the first tooth but the tooth fairy gets the next one.

I also took a quick trip down to Mesa to help Jordan and Alex with their cabinets. Mom and Dad came with and they turned out so well! I wish that mine could look like them. She stained them a great dark brownish black color and it looks so good!

Seylah is saying alot of words now. She loves to yell "POPPA POPPA POPPA" when she sees Dad! It is so cute to hear

She is getting to be such a big little girl! No more baby! :( She is so cute. I wish she didn't live so far!

We are so nice and settled into our little happy routine. It is hard to believe that it has already been 10 months since we have been married. If the first year is supposed to be the hardest (which I just can't believe) then we should be in for a pretty happy rest of our lives :)

Christmas Mayhem

Christmas time is here! (and gone!)

This year was the year for decorating our house with lights. Josh swore up and down that he would not help me but he ended up shouting his advice out the window and finally ended up coming outside to help me. We both have spent alot of time this December sick as dogs. I swear there is always a ton of chicken soup in my fridge.

Family is here!

We had a fun family photoshoot by Willow Lake. So glad that we are all together this season.

Josh out did himself and got me a new lens for my camera and a stock pot :)

I am going to be the kitchen queen! Love it!

Seylah got to come visit. We love her so much.

Christmas was fun but it came and went so quickly that I could barely believe it. Now 2011 is almost officially over! We are planning on having a New Years Party this weekend, and ringing in the New Year right!  For now I am enjoying kicking it on the couch and watching Bones with Josh.

Thanksgiving time!

Today is Thanksgiving and everyone says what they are thankful for.

I am thankful for my life. I am so content with it and I am so grateful for everything that I have and am able to do.

I am so thankful for my family. I love them all so much and I am so glad that they are my family. I am so thankful that we live close to John. I can lure him into my plans so easily and he is such a good friend to us. I am so happy that December and Arthur live so close and that they are so good to us. I am glad that we have dinner buddies and that Josh has such a good big brother who helps him when he needs someone to talk to about cars :)  Even though I don't get to spend this Thanksgiving with my 2 sisters I am so glad that they never seem so far because of cell phones and internet. I am so glad that we all love each other so much. I am thankful that I get to see Jacy for Christmas and that Jordan doesn't live far and that she has Seylah! I am so happy that we get to watch Seylah grow up and that she is such a healthy, happy little girl.

I am so thankful for my home. It is so nice to have a place to call your own and to have space to inspire you and to create memories in. Home is always a centerpiece of people's lives and mine is my place that so much of my happiness comes from. It is where I sleep, (which really makes me happy) it is where I get my clean clothes, and clean sheets!, It is where I spend alot of quality time with family, and it is where I get to try out my new ideas and have a creative blast, painting, cooking, redo-ing furniture etc.

I am thankful for my husband. He works hard and he always is thinking of ways to make me happy. I am thankful that we are both healthy and that we have the same goals and dreams for our life together. Sitting at home together is the best place in the world. He is my home and I am so content to come home and be with him.
I am thankful for my doggies. well Jay is a good boy. He only wants to lay on the carpets with his hairy body. Dixie is a challenge with her bratty chewing. But it is nice to have a little doggie that is so excited to see me and always wants to be near us. It is nice to have company when Josh leaves at night and it makes me less lonely.

I am thankful that I am able to work with people that I enjoy and that work is not so bad. I never dread it in the morning and I am glad that it is so painless because without working my house wouldn't be nearly as comfortable if I didn't have money to buy it :)

I am thankful for my parents. They have taught me well in alot of things and are there for advice whenever I need them. They love me even when I am being cranky and provided for me for many years when I was running around carefree in our property. They let me have all the animals that I wanted well except for a hamster :) and let me have the best childhood ever.

Happy Thanksgiving!
